Once again Kootenay Business magazine has undertaken extensive research to bring you our list of the Top Kootenay Employers
Kootenay Business is pleased to present its list of the Top 120 Kootenay Employers. This year’s list was compiled in December 2009 through extensive research and is based on the number of regular employees in each business. We have made accuracy and fairness a priority; however, we recognize that some numbers may fluctuate.
Congratulations to the new inclusions on the 2009 list. They are: Certified Coating Specialists Inc. (Castlegar), Ktunaxa Nation Council (Windermere, Cranbrook, Grasmere and Creston), BC Timber Sales (Nelson, Castlegar, Cranbrook, Grand Forks and Nakusp) and Kicking Horse Coffee (Invermere).
Regardless of rank or number of employees, all businesses are to be commended for making the list. From tourism to construction, education to retail, and small business to large corporations, every organization and company listed helps give the Kootenay region a distinctive feel.
