Community Supports Mir Lecture Series

Vera (left) and Cyril Woykin (centre) have met the challenge Executive Director, John J.
Verigin, to donate $100 per family member towards the Mir Centre for
Peace Lecture Series. They recently gave $100 each, in support of the
Series. Donor Development Coordinator, Pat Henman (right), thankfully
accepted the donation on behalf of Selkirk College and the Mir Centre
for Peace. To date, the Doukhobour community has donated over $8,600 to
the Mir Lecture Series Endowment Campaign. The total amount of funds
raised sits at approximately $64,000-almost half way to the goal of
$200,000.
