Residents of Grand Forks, B.C., will be pleased to see an expanded new location for their local water company. Y & R Water Sales & Services opens down the street from their old address on January 9, 2012.

New owners Bob Yemm and wife, Deb Lauzon, are thrilled about the move.

“We’ve moved into a way larger store” Lauzon explained. “We’ll be able to carry more product and expand our product line,” she added, mentioning that the new inventory list is in the works.

Lauzon described her move to Grand Forks in 1990 to take a job, and how her love of the area convinced her to stay.

“We’re actually avid campers. Every chance we get we like to go up the North Fork and do the forestry campgrounds,” she said.

See Bob for any of your irrigation or water system needs at 8098 Donaldson Drive, check out www.yrwater.ca, or call 250-442-5537 for round-the-clock service.
