COVETED AWARD: All Best of Business award winners will be sent an official certificate.
As you may have noticed when you picked up this issue of Kootenay Business, it is time once again for our annual Best of Business survey.

We invite you to take some time to fill out the survey and send it back to us with your nominations for who in the Kootenays is doing an outstanding job.
We want to hear from you on everything from who has the best pizza in the region to who does the best job of plumbing. This is your opportunity to let those hard-working people in your community know that you appreciate their products and services.

Winners of these awards are chosen by the readers, not by the management or staff here at Kootenay Business. Thousands of surveys are distributed throughout the Kootenays; you have until April 30, 2007, to send in your responses. We then carefully tabulate the answers to determine the winners. Award winners are separated into the West Kootenay and the East Kootenay.
So, get out a pen and let us know who you think should be recognized for their outstanding products and services. After all, these are the people that make the Kootenays a great place in which to live.

The webmasters at Kootenaybiz.com have been busy revamping our website. Along with refreshing the look of the site itself, we have added a new bi-monthly e-newsletter to allow business people in the Kootenays to stay more connected.

The site will provide a direct link for anyone looking for the latest business news in any of the communities within the Kootenay region. The community focus section will act as a 12-month archive of the main magazine stories pertaining to each community represented.

Favourites such as the Best of Business, Top 50 Companies, Top 10 Business People and Business Showcases will be featured on the site as well, providing insight into the companies that are leading the way in the region—and the people behind these businesses.
