Q&A with Spa 901’s Shelly MacGregor

Shelly MacGregor, a Natural Health Practitioners of Canada registered massage therapist, anticipates Spa 901's opening

What do you do in your downtime?

I spend as much time as I can with my husband walking our 12-year-old retriever.

If someone were visiting you from out of town, where would you take them to give them a taste of the place?

I have and would take them for a walk along main street and other areas, (and) we would stop to enjoy one of (Fernie's) 40 restaurants.

What do you like about doing business in your community?

Since (Spa 901 is) not open yet, I hope to offer the same kind of customer service I have received in the city of Fernie; people here really spend time connecting with you.

Why did you choose to start your business here?

I chose Fernie because I think it chose me: the beautiful spa space, the amazing mountain ranges and the people that have influenced me to become a part of the lifestyle Fernie offers.
