Mark your calendars because it's all about making connections. In February, Kootenay Business magazine organized a successful Business and Career Expo in conjunction with Selkirk College in Castlegar. This was the first in a series of Kootenay Business career fairs. Watch for the College of the Rockies Business and Career Expo slated for Cranbrook on Wednesday, April 2; a Career Connections at David Thompson Secondary School in Invermere on Thursday, April 3; and the Elk Valley Career Connections at Fernie Secondary School on Tuesday, April 8. All of these events are designed to allow students and potential employees to connect with future employers by gleaning valuable insight into today's career opportunities.
Talking about Castlegar, this edition of the Kootenay Business e-newsletter delves into what's happening in Castlegar. Watch for a special profile on Castlegar in an upcoming issue of Kootenay Business. We welcome your feedback—contact Keith Powell, Kootenay Business publisher, at keith@kpimedia.com.
